SOME OF THE DETAILS TO LOOK
AT AS WE CONSIDER HOW
TO ASSIST
THE EVOLUTION OF YOUR SACRED SPACE
Why do you want to create a labyrinth or sacred space?
Is this a personal, family or community project?
Where would it be located?
Who would need access to this space?
How many might walk at the same time?
How can it be private? but accessible?
How much room will it take?
What are your design choices?
and how are they impacted
by your location and the space available?
What
will define the space? What will you walk on?
Where
do you find the right materials?
Do
you have a budget?
Do
you have a crew?
WHO IS HELPING YOU?
My first labyrinths were built over 9 months during the early
1990's in Exeter, NH. Thirty of us came together to experience the energies of labyrinths and the gifts of awareness
they could offer. Each unique like a snowflake, even tho' the same basic design, enhancing the physical area it
occupies and the intention of the spirit who chooses to manifest this sacred meditative space into thier own realm or
on behalf of their community.
There-in, actually,
lies one of the many metaphores labyrinths offer us.
