A Silver Cord evolved as a result of my own wish to create sacred space where I live. Over the last 15 years we have moved from sticks & string in a muddy field, building a traditional 7-circuit labyrinth, thru some pretty amazing projects. We have used tons of rocks & pea stone, hundreds of pounds of cracked corn, yards of bright white rope with hand-turned copper supports and too many cobblestones & bricks to count. Tiny forms were birthed with pebbles in the red rock canyons; and then there was a giant space outlined with lime for horses to use. We have assisted with community labyrinths in spiritual centers and personal meditation spaces. Many people, dogs & horses have walked in Silver Cord Labyrinths. Workshops, community events, finger labyrinths, books & boxes, meditation mats and the Star 'porta portal' took us further on the path to assisting others to meet the spirit of the labyrinth.

CREATING LABYRINTHS IS AT THE CORE OF THIS OFFERING...

If you are interested in building a labyrinth we invite you to contact us and arrange a visit. We'll be happy to meet you here at Linden Hill, chat about your ideas & see if we both would like to take the next step. 

At our first visit to your site (a 'house call'), we share an overview of designs, materials, sizes & other choices, as well as consider where your labyrinth might be located. This may be enough to get you going. 

If you wish additional design or cost estimating assistance or construction oversite, a Project deposit is required. This step assists you to finalize your design, dimensions, orientation and materials decisions. We'll take pictures, create diagrams, gather construction & materials information & costs. Your choices at this stage will determine how to proceed with actual construction. Again, you may choose to do the rest yourself or hire out the heavy stuff, create a workshop or if this is a community project, you may want to arrange a fundraiser. 

Ongoing project & budget development or construction oversite can be arranged. If you decide you need professional stone or landscape assistance, we are available to assist with detailed plans, gather professional labor & materials estimates and provide construction oversite of your design.
